Goan Fish Fry Recipe/Indian Fish Fry


Fish                                        500 gm
Onion                                     100 gm
Turmeric                                 a pinch
Red chillies                             5 gm
Mustard seeds                       5 gm
Cumin                                   3 gm
Garlic                                   5 gm
Salt                                      to taste
Fat for frying                        as required


1. Clean and wash fish.
2. Grind mustard seeds, cumin, garlic, half the onions, chillies and turmeric to a fine paste.
3. Add the ground masala paste with fish and soak for one hour.
4. Chop the remaining onions.
5. Heat oil. Fry fish.
6. Serve hot, garnished with fried onions. (for four portions)
