Masala Puffed Rice Recipe (Masala Pori) All time quick and easy snacks


Puffed rice                                                 300 to 400gms
Red chilly                                                   5 to 6 nos
Roasted Bengal Gram(Pottu kadalai)          1/2 cup
Garlic                                                        10 to 12 big cloves
Curry leaves                                               a few
Red chilli powder                                        2tsp
Turmeric powder                                        1/2 tsp
Salt                                                            to taste
Oil                                                             2 to3 tbsp


1. Skin off the garlic and crush it roughly with the back of spoon. 
2.Heat oil in a big kadai , add red chillies fry it for sometime. 
3. Add crushed garlic n fry it till crisp.add curry leaves and immediately add puffed rice n keep frying till they become crisp. 
4. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and roasted bengal gram (pottu kadalai) and fry it for few minutes.
5. Remove and Store in a air tight container.
Tip: Fry the masala puffed rice in a kadai for few minutes if it loses crispyness.
