Pepper Egg recipe ( spicy and simple to prepare)

Pepper egg recipe is a mouth watering dish tastes awesome with Chapathi, Phulka, Rasam and Poondu kuzhambu rice( south Indian traditional food). This reminds me my school days because my mom prepared this atleast twice in a week for my food after school in the evening. Try this simple pepper egg recipe and Enjoy Cooking!!!


Boiled Eggs                                  2 nos
Garlic flakes                                 5 nos
Pepper                                        1 to 2 tsp
Jeera                                           1 tsp
Dry red chilli                                2 to 3 nos
Salt                                             to taste
Curry leaves                                5 to 6 nos
Oil                                              1 tbsp


1. Grind garlic flakes, pepper, jeera, red chilli, salt with little amount of water and keep it aside
2. Heat oil in a kadai, add the ground paste and curry leaves and fry till the raw smell goes.
3. Add the boiled eggs slit vertically and cook for 2 mins. Garnish with chopped corianders.
4. Serve hot.Tastes gud with rasam rice, Garlic kuzhambu, Indian bread and sourashtra poondu kuzhambu.
